PERKEMBANGAN SEJARAH OS ANDROID

Perkembangan Sejarah Android - Android, tentunya kita sudah tidak asing ya dengan kata itu. Ya, salah satu OS atau bahasa kerennya Operating System untuk Handphone / smartphone ini telah menjadi OS primadona saat ini. Android merupakan OS yang berbasis Linux. Pada awalnya Google membeli Android yang pada saat itu masih baru dalam pembuat software untuk handphone. Untuk mengembangkan OS ini, Google membentuk Open Handset Alliance yang terdiri dari 34 perusahaan hardware, software dan telekomunikasi dimana termasuk Google, HTC, Motorola, Intel, Qualcomm, T-Mobile dan Nvidia.

Perkembangan Android dari awal diciptakan Android hingga kini telah banyak mengalami pengembangan, Apa saja perkembangan yang terjadi pada OS ini? Berikut perkembangan Android dari masa ke masa.

1. Android 1.1

Google mengeluarkan Android 1.1 pada 9 Maret 2009. Android ini telah dilengkapi oleh pembaruan estetis pada aplikasi, voice search dan jam alarm. Pengiriman pesan dengan email gmail serta email notification.

2. Android 1.5 Cupcake

Pada bulan Mei 2009, Google kembali mengeluarkanAndroid versi 1.5 Cupcake. Android ini memiliki beberapa kemampuan diantaranya:

• Kemampuan Merekam serta menonton video dengan modus kamera.
• Dapat mengupload video ke Youtube serta gambar ke Picasa langsung dari handphone.
• Disertai Bluetooth A2DP dimana mampu terhubung ke headset Bluetooth secara otomatis.

3. Android 1.6 Donut

Pada bulan September 2009 android versi 1.6 atau Donut dikeluarkan oleh google. Android ini dilengkapi dengan kemampuan:

• Pemakaian baterai indikator dan kontrol applet VPN.
• Kamera, camcorder dan galeri yang dintegrasikan.
• CDMA / EVDO, 802.1x, , Gestures, VPN, dan Text-to-speech engine.
• Kemampuan dial kontak.
• Pengadaan resolusi VWGA.
• Galeri yang dapat dipilih foto yang akan dihapus oleh pengguna.

4.Android 2.1 Eclair

Android ini dikeluarkan pada awal 3 Desember 2009 dengan berbagai peningkatan fasilitas seperti,

• Peningkatan Google Maps 3.1.2.
• Adanya perubahan UI dengan browser baru dengan dukungan HTML5.
• Memiliki daftar kontak yang baru.
• Didukung flash untuk kamera 3,2 MP, digital Zoom.
• Bluetooth 2.1.

5. Android 2.2 Froyo : Frozen Yoghurt

Google meluncurkan android ini pada 20 Mei 2010 dengan berbagai dukungan :

• Adobe Flash 10.1.
• Kemampuan kecepatan kinerja dan aplikasi 2 sampai 5 kali lebih cepat.
• Intergrasi V8 JavaScript engine yang digunakan Google Chrome.
• Penginstalan aplikasi pada SD Card.
• FasilitasWiFi Hotspot, sehingga dapat dishare.
• Auto update aplikasi dalam Android Market.

6.Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Anroid ini dikeluarkan pada 6 Desember 2010, dengan berbagai kemampuannya.

• Meningkatnya kemampuan dalam gaming.
• Peningkatan fungsi copy paste.
• User Interface yang didesain ulang.
• Didukung format video VP8 dan WebM.
• Setingan audio (reverb, equalization, bass boost, dan headphone virtualization).
• Dukungan kemampuan Near Field Communication (NFC).

7. Android 3.0 Honeycomb

Android ini telah diluncurkan pada 9 Mei 2011 oleh google.

• Honeycomb memiliki antarmuka (user interface) 3D yang sangat menarik dan secara khusus dihadirkan untuk pengguna layar berukuran besar seperti tablet.
• Sistem ini mendukung komputasi yang lebih besar, yang membuat tablet lebih cepat dan mudah untuk bekerja.
• Multitasking widget memungkinkan user untuk mengakses atau memberhentikan aplikasi dengan berbagai cara.

8. Android 4.0 ICS: Ice Cream Sandwich

Google mengeluarkan android ini pada tanggal 19 Oktober 2011.

• Tampilan home screen dapat menyesuaikan ukuran widget.
• Untuk meningkatkan keamanan, disertai fitur face unlock.
• Terdapat fitur pemeriksaan ejaan pada keyboard, namun belum support untuk bahasa indonesia
• Dilengkapi fitur mobile data yang mana user dapat mengetahui pemakaian data, batas penggunaan, serta mengetahui bagian mana yang paling menghabiskan kuota.
• Kini Browser dapat dibuka hingga 16 tab dalam bentuk vertikal dan menumpuk.
• Fitur Google+ yang terintegrasi dengan account gmail anda untuk melakukan teleconfrence.
• Fitur Android Bead berdasarkan teknologi NFC membuat kita dapat saling menukar data dan informasi antar sesama pengguna teknologi NFC.
• Pada fitur video dapat mengambil foto secara bersamaan disaat menggunakan video. Fitur edit foto juga tersedia dalam ice cream sandwich.
• Apalikasi Recent Apps button yang memudahkan kita mengakses aplikasi yang pernah dijalankan.

9. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

Google meluncurkan Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pada tanggal 27 Juni 2012.

• Android Jelly Bean ini dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penggunaan CPU, dan penggunaan Project Butter sehingga kualitas grafis menjadi lebih mulus.
• Google Now adalah salah satu fitur unggulan di Jelly Bean.
• Fasilitas Mengetik dengan suara / voice Dictation, namun hanya masih dalam bahasa inggris.
• Ukuran widget yang dapat disesuaikan.

10. Android 4.4 KitKat

Kitkat telah resmi diluncurkan pada 31 oktober 2013.

• Lebih ringan karena menggunakan memori RAM 16 persen lebih sedikit dibandingkan Jelly Bean.
• Voice command, dengan fitur ini kita dapat menggunakan handphone tanpa harus menyentuhnya.
• Mencetak foto, dokumen langsung dari handphone.

Mempercepat Koneksi Internet speedy

Cara Pertama :

• Masuk ke settingan modem, 192.168.1.1
• Klik Advanced Setup
• Klik ADSL, lalu pilih ADSL Mode, awalnya pasti ADSL2+ lalu diganti jadi G.DMT, lalu klik save, tunggu beberapa saat browsing lagi

Cara Kedua :

• Setelah lakukan cara pertama lalu masuk ke control panel lalu pilih Network Connections
• Klik kanan di LAN atau Wireless Network Connection, lalu pilih properties. Tergantung kalian pake LAN atau WIFI
• Lalu klik di internet protocol (TCP/IP) klik properties
• Lalu pilih Use the following DNS server addresses
• Masukkan preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
• Masukkan Alternate DNS server :8.8.4.4
• lalu klik ok
• lalu klik kanan di gambar jaringan di paling bawah kanan layar komputer kita, lalu pilih repair, dan setelah itu buktikan kecepatan yang terasa pasti lebih cepat dari kecepatan yang sebelumnya.
